Hervey Bay is accessible by road, Air & Rail. Air transit is currently via Qantaslink, who operates flight services direct from Brisbane. The extension and upgrade of the Fraser Coast/Hervey Bay Airport facilities completed in July 2005 saw the introduction of direct jet services from Sydney by carriers Virgin Blue & Jet Star (Melbourne passengers must go via either Brisbane or Sydney currently).
Rail services are provided by Queensland Rail (QR) and include travel on the Sunlander or Tilt Train services. Rail services are provided to Maryborough, with connecting QR Trainlink coach service to Hervey Bay Qld. Trainlink coach services to La Mer Luxury Apartments must be organised at the time you book your rail ticket.
Coach services operate to and within Hervey Bay. Hervey Bay Australia is a major destination point for all major bus companies including McCafferty’s, Greyhound & Premier Motor Company.
